Peace Is the Proof of Healing
Share
There’s a kind of peace doesn’t make sense — the kind that shows up after the storm, when the waves should still be raging but your heart is still. That peace isn’t found in understanding everything; it’s found in trusting God through everything.
Peace is one of the first signs that healing has begun. You no longer need to defend yourself, prove your worth, or replay the pain in your mind. You can breathe again — not because the situation changed, but because you did.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” — Isaiah 26:3
When God heals your heart, peace becomes your evidence. You stop striving for closure and start resting in His control. You stop asking “why me?” and start saying “thank You anyway.”
💛 Time to Reflect & take Action:
- Identify one situation that used to make you anxious — how do you see it now?
- Write down what “peace” looks like for you this week.
- Pray for peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, but on the presence of God.
🙏 Prayer starter:
Lord, I surrender the things I can’t control. Teach me to rest in Your peace and trust that You are working in ways I can’t yet see. Calm every storm within me and let Your peace be my proof of healing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
