What Shame Silenced, God Still Sees
Share
Some pain is loud. It shouts in arguments, bursts into tears, and shows up in ways no one can ignore.
But some pain hides in silence.
You were taught—maybe without words—that your feelings were too much. That asking for help made you weak. That speaking your truth was a risk not worth taking.
So you got quiet. Not just with your voice—but with your heart.
Shame Silences Identity
Shame doesn’t just make you self-conscious—it trains you to hide the deepest parts of yourself:
-
The creative spark.
-
The sensitivity.
-
The dreams.
-
The questions you long to ask.
You begin to shrink. Not because you want to, but because the message was clear:
“Don’t make things worse.”
“Don’t speak unless you have it all together.”
But God Still Sees You
Psalm 139:4 says:
“Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.”
He hears the unspoken.
He notices the tears you couldn’t explain.
He was there for every moment you weren’t allowed to be fully you.
And now… He’s inviting you to speak again.
